A brighter future is just a click away
From December 10 to December 24, K+S Potash Canada will be hosting an online, crowd-sourced, holiday-giving campaign for the third year in a row. When visitors click on the star ornament hanging from the ‘plus’ symbol on the company’s homepage (www.ks-potashcanada.com), they will have the opportunity to allocate $1 to the charity of their choice – every day for 15 days. The company’s goal is to reach a donation of $10,000 for each of the charities involved. “The holiday season is a great time to give back to the communities in which we live and work,” says Maeghan Dubois, Senior Communications Specialist at K+S Potash Canada. “We hope that the success of the campaign will grow each year and that people are inspired to help K+S give the maximum of $10,000 to each of the selected charities by going online and clicking once a day.”
The 2014 charities are:
- Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan
- Creative Kids Saskatchewan
- Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada – Saskatchewan Division
- Canadian Red Cross – Saskatchewan
About the K+S Group
K+S Potash Canada GP is part of the K+S Group, an international resources company. We have been mining and processing mineral raw materials for 125 years. The products we produce from them are used worldwide in agriculture, food, and road safety and are important elements in numerous industrial processes. Potash and salt are integral nutrients for the megatrend of a constantly growing and increasingly prosperous global population striving for a higher standard of living. This will result in increasing consumption of mineral resources. We serve the resulting growth in demand from production sites in Europe, North America, and South America as well as through a global distribution network. K+S is the world’s largest salt producer and one of the top potash providers worldwide. With more than 14,000 employees, K+S achieved revenues in the financial year 2013 of about € 4 billion and an EBIT of € 656 million. K+S is the commodities stock on the German DAX index.
