Bethune mine receives Hatch-CIM Mining and Minerals Project Development Safety Award

Bethune Mine has been selected as the 2018 recipient of the Hatch-CIM Mining and Minerals Project Development Safety Award. This award recognizes outstanding project safety systems, culture, and performance, and is given to a Canadian project with top safety performance over the course of an entire project.

Colin Braithwaite, Vice President of Health, Safety, and Quality, and Kevin Brown from Wood PLC (formerly Amec Foster Wheeler) accepted this award on behalf of KSPC and Wood PLC. The awards gala was held on May 7, 2018, at the Vancouver Reception Centre.
